Costa Rica is well-known for its tropical wildlife. And, we didn't want to come home without some great pictures of the many birds, reptiles, mammals, and amphibians that live in this country. So today we booked a full-day excursion to go to the Cano Negro Wildlife Refuge - located near the Nicaraguan border. This marshy, jungle-like area is one of the most difficult places to independently visit in Costa Rica.
